Does the OG image checker use Facebook or LinkedIn?
No. We fetch your public HTML, read the tags, and draw CSS mockups. Use Facebook Sharing Debugger or LinkedIn Post Inspector to refresh those networks’ caches.
Why did a check fail for twitter:card?
X shows a large image only when twitter:card is summary_large_image. og:image alone is not enough. See the Twitter card image guide from the ? on that row.
Can you inspect localhost or a private site?
No. Only public http(s) URLs. Loopback, private, and link-local addresses are rejected (SSRF guard). Deploy or tunnel first.
